Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was about to transform the fun for children and families with Wild Oasis, a new area full of thrills, interactivity and wild surprises.
The blog had already covered the area the previous year (see the post here). Busch Gardens then revealed more details about this new adventure, which was expected to open in spring 2025.
The space promised to be North America’s most immersive adventure realm, taking visitors into a vibrant setting inspired by the biodiversity of tropical rainforests.
A New Habitat for Incredible Animals
Nature lovers would be delighted by Habitat Hideaway, an entirely new space where different animal species could be seen up close. The park’s new residents included adorable capybaras, curious giant anteaters, clever squirrel monkeys and several tropical birds.
With aerial and ground-level viewing points, this immersive habitat allowed visitors to connect with the animals in a unique way, creating an educational and exciting experience.
High-Flying Thrills With Tree Top Drop
For adventure seekers, Tree Top Drop promised to take excitement to a new level. This 35-foot drop tower combined multimedia technology with an action-packed jungle setting, surrounding visitors with dynamic images projected on screens.
With a minimum height of 38 inches when accompanied by an adult, or 42 inches to ride alone, it was perfect for anyone looking for that mix of butterflies and guaranteed fun.
More Fun: Climbing, Splashing and Treasure Hunting
The fun continued throughout Wild Oasis with attractions for every age:
- Canopy Climb: a climbing adventure with four levels, 200 feet of trails and structures reaching 45 feet high.
- Enchanted Falls: an interactive splash pad full of fountains and spray towers where children could cool off while they played.
- Rainforest Quest: an educational treasure hunt in which visitors explored rainforest secrets and learned about the relationships among different species.
Exclusivity for Annual Pass Members
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Annual Pass Members were set to receive exclusive early access to Wild Oasis before its official opening. The 2025 passes were on sale from US$15.75 per month with no down payment.
In addition to unlimited admission, pass members had exclusive benefits such as:
- FREE guest tickets;
- FREE parking;
- Special discounts on merchandise, food and beverages;
- Access to exclusive seasonal events.
