2. The Greenery Creamery — Orlando’s Craft Pioneer
Greenery Creamery is considered to be the Orlando’s first boutique artisanal ice cream shop, opened in 2018 in the South Eola neighborhood, near Lake Eola Park, in the heart of Downtown. And it remains a reference for those looking for quality ice cream with creative recipes.

3. Charlie's Bakery & Creamery — More than 50 Years of Tradition in Orlando
Founded in 1971 by baker Charlie Hawks, Charlie's Bakery & Creamery is a piece of Orlando's story. In 2021, the bakery won a new owner — the Orlandese Tricia Hage — who expanded the business by adding homemade ice cream made in the house. Salt & Straw is one of the most acclaimed craft ice cream shops in the United States, born in Portland, Oregon, and finally arrived in the Orlando region with a shop at Disney Springs. What makes it special? The philosophy of creating ice cream from local ingredients and combinations you would never have imagined.
The menu changes monthly by theme — it has had editions with artisanal beer ice cream with cookie dough, brie cheese with jam, medicinal plants and even chocolate with olive oil. Okay, Wondermade is technically in Sanford, but it's so close to Orlando (some 40 minutes north) and so out of the ordinary that it can't leave out of this list. The house's mission is to create artisanal marshmallows with unusual flavors — and here they get to have over 75 options at the same time, from Churro to Bacon with Maple, from Cannoli to Dill Pickle (yes, pickle!).
