The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens held Sunset at the Zoo on January 24, 2025, giving families the opportunity to enjoy the zoo until sunset.

The event celebrated Hispanic culture and included food trucks, live performances and several children’s activities.

The zoo operated normally until 3 p.m. that day and reopened at 4 p.m. for the event, which lasted until 6:30 p.m.

Individual tickets cost US$6 online or US$8 on site. An online-only US$44 family package included four event admissions, four hot dogs and four soft drinks.

According to Central Florida Zoo, some animals might not have been visible and should not have been considered the main attraction of this event.
