The park will win the long awaited The Magic of Disney Animation, an interactive experience inspired by the classics of Disney animation and the short Once Upon a Studio.

📌 New area arrives at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
In addition, Disney has revealed unprecedented details that promise to completely transform this part of the park and enchant families and fans of all ages.
What will be the new Disney Hollywood Studios area like?
This new area that arrives at Disney Hollywood Studios in 2026 will be called The Magic of Disney Animation — a space completely inspired by the legacy of Walt Disney Animation Studios films and the short film Once Upon a Studio Unlike what was seen years ago in the old Animation Courtyard, now, so we'll have much more interaction, creativity and family fun!
This new attraction will be in the building that today houses the Star Wars: Launch Bay And it promises to be a spot, no doubt, unmissable from the park in 2026.
One of the most exciting details is that the building will be crowned with the Mickey Sorcerer Hat iconic That's a taste of nostalgia and imagination right off the bat!

One of the main news is, in fact, the experience “Olaf Draws!”. There, Olaf (yes, in the form of Audio-Animatronics!) will guide you in creative stations for learn how to draw Disney characters Everything will work as if you were in a real animation studio!
And so, with the help of animators and art directors, it will be possible to learn how to draw Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, the Genius of Lamp, Moana, Stitch, Olaf, Ursula and even Judy Hopps & Nick Wilde.
Interactive gallery, cinema and meeting with characters
Within the new area, you can visit spaces inspired by real animation departments (such as Story, Layout and Lighting). Soon, in each of them, you will find iconic characters — from Mulan to Goofy or Stitch — in perfect scenarios for unforgettable photos and encounters.
Another novelty is on account of an art gallery where works "win" life! That's right! Through magical special effects, visitors can interact with them so that the experience becomes even more immersive!

And don't think it's over! For the little ones, the area will have the playground covered and interactive Drawn to WonderlandInspired by Alice in Wonderland, with giant flowers and musical instruments, space promises to be filled with creative stimuli for kids to spend energy and much imagination!
Space will have the charming external area and inviting
The outer space, formerly known as Animation Courtyard, will also be completely transformed. It will be the perfect place to rest, make a snack and even find hidden characters among the trees and hidden corners.
And as I mentioned in last year's post, to prepare this transformation, the Animation Courtyard area and Disney Jr. Play and Dance! closed their doors in September, but attractions like The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Walt Disney Presents They remain open as magic takes shape.
