If you're a fan of pop culture, cosplay, comics and everything that involves the geek universe, you can't miss the MegaCon Orlando 2025, which will happen between the days 6 and 9 February 2025 at the Orange County Convention Center. This is one of the largest pop culture events in the United States, attracting thousands of visitors every year.
In 2025, the event promises to be even more special, full of novelties, famous guests and unmissable experiences.
What to expect from MegaCon Orlando 2025
MegaCon is where all the nerd tribes meet! You will find intense programming, which includes autograph sessions with celebrities from iconic series and movies, comic board with comics creators, animation voicers and game influencers. Besides, there will be a Gaming Arena, with video game tournaments and an area for video game lovers to spend the day playing and having fun.
The event will also have an exclusive space for cosplayer meetings, workshops, cosplay competitions and the famous Cosplay Red Carpet, where you can show your talent and creativity to the public without need of prior registration.
Among the confirmed attractions are the areas dedicated to anime, science fiction, horror and games, offering activities for all tastes. The official programming will still be released, but the organizers already guarantee many surprises and the presence of special guests, from actors of darling series to renowned artists of the comic book world, such as Tom Welling (from Smallville), Alicia Silverstone (of Clueless), Dolph Lundgren (Aquaman) among others.
For cosplay fans
If cosplay is your thing, MegaCon Orlando is a paradise! The event features a wide range of activities including craft workshops, discussion panels and even thematic photo sessions in a park dedicated exclusively to cosplayers. In addition, there will be the Kids' Cosplay Red Carpet, an especially lovely attraction for small fans to show off their creative costumes.
For those who dream of watching their favorite characters come to life, MegaCon is the perfect time. Several professional cosplayers will be present, and there will be meetups for those who want to meet with fans of the same fandom for that epic photo.
Exclusive event at Universal Island of Adventure
And you think it's over? On Friday (February 7, 2025), after the event at the Orange County Convention Center, there will also be a exclusive event at Universal Island of Adventure.
From 5 pm, guests can enter the park with their cosplay costumes and, after 7 pm, they can enjoy all night until the closing of Universal Island of Advednture, all the attractions of the park exclusively.
