If you are traveling to Orlando you can not fail to include the Leu Gardens in your script.
Considered Orlando’s “Botanic Garden”, Leu Gardens was elected the best picnic spot in the United States, according to Mixbook.
The company specialized in photographs, conducted a survey with 3,000 Americans to discover the 125 best picnic venues in the country and Leu Gardens was the first place, winning unanimously among Americans for being a quiet, easy-to-reach place with an extremely pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
The announcement came out the moment the park offers its visitors the Summer of the Fairies (or Fairy Summer), which happens until August 25th. During this period, visitors will be able to find around 20 fairy doors throughout the park that lead to different locations with unique design made especially for the personality of each of the fairies.

Children can meet real fairies, as well as participate in activities that will make the experience even more magical!
And don't stop there! On selected nights, there are live music shows until August 29th.

HISTORICAL JARDINS
Located a few minutes from the centre of Orlando, Leu Gardens features approximately 20 hectares of land and a huge variety of plants and flowers.
The gardens are divided into sections, each with a unique beauty.
Besides, you can also explore the Historic Leu House Museum, a big house that became a museum and stays open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 1:00.
The house was originally built in 1881, and there passed four different families who lived and left their particularities over the years. In 1961, however, the couple Harry P. and Mary Jane – the last owners – donated the property to the city of Orlando that eventually opened the Leu Gardens to the public.
