If you are in Orlando during the month of August and want to take a ride with the kids out of the great theme parks, you cannot miss the opportunity to meet the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens.
Because he's offering. free entry for children up to 12 years old (accompanied by a paying adult) until 31 August.
Central Florida Zoo is located in Sanford city, about 24 minutes north of Orlando.
There's no way you're not fascinated by the place. It has over 500 animals in addition to sheltering the Insect Zoo and the House of Reptiles.
One of the attractions children love in this zoo is the Barnyard Buddies Child Zoo, where the little ones can get close to the animals and still feed them, like goats, llamas, alpacas and even giraffes!
Now in the summer period, you can still take them to have fun at Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground, a playground with water fountains where children can water themselves as they cool off. Don't forget to take a change of clothes, eh!
The most adventurous can still do zippy in Semiole Aerial Adventures (with tickets aside).
Another very cool attraction of the park is a train ride where visitors have the opportunity to get to know the whole zoo territory.
