Florida is known as “Sunshine State“ – or State of the Sun. That's because it's about 250 sunny days a year. That is, if you come to Orlando for a vacation and rain during your stay, consider yourself an unlucky person! Rsrs
Kidding aside, I know how frustrating it is to wait a long time for a vacation and, when it comes, to run into a bad time.
But calm down. There is much that can be done in Orlando on rainy day, especially if you are traveling during the American summer (between June and September), period marked by heavy rains and even hurricanes (ah, I did a post telling all about them HERE).
I did a post with 22 attractions for you to do out of the great theme parks (CONFIRE HERE). And so this post doesn't get too repetitive, I've separated other attractions than those, but they're equally unmissable. So, shall we check it out?
IFLY ORLANDO
How about skydiving? But you must be thinking, “But, Juliana, if the day is rainy, how am I going to parachute?”
O iFly Orlando is a simulator where you have the opportunity to experience an indoor parachute jump into a giant tunnel. It's guaranteed fun for the whole family, including children, since the allowed age is 3 years or more, okay?
The flights are divided by groups and, before each group enters the scene, you are taken to a room where you go through all kinds of training and instructions.
The value is not so cheap if you consider flight time (about 2 minutes), but it is an interesting experience, especially if you are one of those who doesn't really have the courage to make a parachute jump outdoors.
The ticket for a person is $ 89.99 and in this amount is included the rental of equipment, pre-flight training, flight and a personalized certificate.

DAVE & BUSTER’S
This is that typical attraction that people who go with kids love! O Dave & Buster’s is a kind of playland with various electronic games that the kids love (and the older ones too, go!) and a restaurant bar that caters to all kinds of audiences, from those looking for a happy hour even those who are going along with children.
The site features several arcade games, virtual reality and billiards. It's worth knowing!

CLEARWATER MARINE AQUARIUM
Although it is not located in Orlando, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium It's a very nice ride, especially if you're traveling with children. It is one of the most famous and popular aquariums in the United States and is located on Clearwater Beach (about 1 hour from Orlando and 30 minutes from Tampa), considered one of Florida's most beautiful beaches.
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is not very big, but it is very well known since it was set shooting some films, such as “Winter the Dolphin” The film, by the way, is inspired by the real story of dolphin Winter, who lost part of his syrup because he got caught in a fishing net. He was rescued by the aquarium crew and still lives there.
The aquarium is also known to be a rehabilitation hospital for marine animals that, when found injured, are taken there.
At Clearwater, visitors have the opportunity to get to know the work of the animal hospital, see from nearby dolphins, sea turtles, otters, sharks and more, as well as learn a little more about them.
The aquarium also has experiences charged apart from the regular ticket, such as taking pictures with dolphins, feeding rays, turtles and sharks.

MONKEY JOE’S
Monkey Joe’s is a more targeted attraction for those who are traveling with children between 2 and 11 years of age. It is an indoor park of inflatable toys and elastic beds, as well as a big toy.
But not only inflatable toys live the Monkey Joe’s. There you also find some electronic games, with paid tickets aside.
Monkey Joe’s is located in Pointe Orlando, a very trendy region known for its bars and restaurants.
Tickets cost from $5 to $12.99 and even give you a card to use in electronic games. It is worth checking the site before your visit, as they offer promotions for every day of the week!
If you want to spend the kids' energy, it is worth visiting Monkey Joe’s!

DECERLAND ACTION PARK ORLAND
O Dezerland Action Park It's one of Orlando's biggest indoor parks. Just for you to get an idea, it has a space the size of almost 15 football fields and ensures fun for people of all ages!
It features Florida's largest covered kart track with four skill and speed levels, over 300 electronic games (including from arcades like vintage pinball machines to more modern video games). There's also a bowling alley, a trampoline park for the kids, a laser tag maze, crash carts and more!
Dezerland also has a restaurant area and full bar service for those who want to make a happy hour with friends or even eat something while the kids have fun.
And it doesn't stop there. The site also houses the Orlando Auto Museum, with over 2,000 vehicles, including cars from famous films like James Bond, Back to the Future and Scooby Doo.
The amounts are all charged for activities, so it is worth checking out on the official website to see those that please you the most.

MEDIEVAL TIMES DINNER & TOURNAMENT
O Medieval Times It's a very interesting attraction to do in Orlando. It's a medieval show you watch while you're at dinner.
The show takes place in a castle and visitors are divided into 6 areas of an arena (where the show happens). There you will see knights, horses – for real! - and a lot of sword fighting.
It's worth knowing!

PIATES DINNER ADVENTURE
Very similar to Medieval Times, the Pirates Dinner Adventure invites visitors to a dinner while you watch a fully set show.
Visitors sit at tables around an artificial lake, with a pirate ship in real size, and that's where the whole show happens.
Actors dressed as pirates invite viewers to join in the story of a young princess who needs to escape the clutches of an evil captain.
The presentation is breathtaking and has lots of pyrotechnics, cannon shots, lots of music and humor.

THE SCHOOL GAME ORDERING
A The Escape Game Orlando It's one of those fun, exciting immersive attractions. This is an escape room where you and your team will have 60 minutes to work together, finding clues, overcoming challenges and completing missions to try to escape from there.
In each room, there is a different immersion, like escaping from a prison, going to Mars, participating in a robbery and even immersing in the depths of the ocean.
Prices range from US$ 39.99 to US$ 44.99 per person. Remember that entry is allowed for over 13 years of age.
