
Florida still recovers from the disturbances caused by Hurricane Milton, which passed through the state on the night of last Wednesday and left several points with flooding and energy drops, besides much destruction in the cities of the coastal area.
Already on Thursday, October 10, 2024, some supermarkets, shops and restaurants have already started operating normally.
But how do airports and theme parks in the region stand? That's what I'll reveal in this post, check it out!
Walt Disney World
All parks of the complex (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios), in addition to Disney Springs will return to normal operation from Friday, October 11, 2024.
The party Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was cancelled on October 10 and all tickets of the event will be refunded (See more details).
For partially used multi-day tickets, the ticket expiration dates will be adjusted to expire on October 11, 2025.(See more details).
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The zoo will remain closed on Friday, October 11.
Fun Spot
They reopened their Orlando and Kissimmee parks at 3pm on Thursday, October 10, with some closed attractions. Normal operation should take place on Friday, October 11th.
Gatorland
It remains closed on Friday, October 11th, for cleaning the park after Hurricane Milton.
Kennedy Space Center
It will remain closed on Friday, October 11th, and reopen on October 12th, Saturday, from 9am.
Legoland
It will reopen normally on Friday, October 11th.
Peppa Pig Theme Park
It will reopen normally on Friday, October 11th.
Discovery Cove
It will reopen normally on Friday, October 11th.
SeaWorld
It will reopen normally on Friday, October 11th. However, the Spoktacular and Howl-O-Scream parties were cancelled this Friday.
Aquatica Orlando
It will reopen normally on Friday, October 11th.
Sea Life Orlando Aquarium
It will reopen normally on Friday, October 11th.
Universal Orlando Resorts
It will reopen its two parks (Island of Adventure and Universal Studios), as well as the CityWalk normally on Friday, October 11. The Halloween Horror Nights party will also function normally.
Busch Gardens
Until the closing of this post, Busch Garden had not yet announced its date of reopening.
The Orlando Eye (Icon Park)
It remains closed on Friday, October 11, 2024.
AIRPORTS
Tampa International Airport
It will be reopened on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 8am.
Orlando International Airport
Despite receiving some domestic arrival flights on the night of Thursday, October 10th, the airport is not on domestic or international departure flights this day. But normal operations will resume from Friday, October 11, 2024.
