If you're a fan of Harry Potter, as well as I, visit the Universal Orlando It's like making a dream come true, and this year, we're celebrating a very special milestone: 15 years of The Wizard World of Harry Potter, which began its journey in 2010 with the inauguration of Hogsmeade, in the park Universal’s Islands of AdventureAnd of course, I couldn't help but share with you all about this magical experience!
The beginning of magic: Hogsmeade in the Islands of Adventure

- Flight of the Hippogriff: A lighter roller coaster, perfect for those who want a dose of mild adrenaline.
- Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure: This roller coaster is one of Orlando's most impressive, with several launches, surprises and magical creatures along the way.
Moreover, it is impossible not to be delighted with the details of the store windows, such as the Ollivanders Where you can live the moment the wand chooses the witch.
Harry Potter Diagon Alley Area at Universal Studios Florida
Four years later, on July 8, 2014, the magic expanded with the arrival of Diagonal Beak (Diagon Alley), this time in the nearby park, the Universal Studios Florida.
And, I confess, it is my favorite area of all! (And the fullest one, including! rsrs)

- Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts: An exciting adventure inside the famous wizard bank, mixing roller coaster and simulator.
- The dragon spitting fire at the top of the Gringotes bank became one of the most photographed icons in the park.
- Experience buying your custom wand in Ollivanders (now also in Diagonal Beak), with interactivity spread throughout the area.
- Amazing theme shops, like Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, Borgin and Burkes (no Knockturn Alley) and Sugarplum’s Sweetshop.
Hogwarts Express: Harry Potter's famous train at Universal Orlando
Yes, you can. board the Hogwarts Express, exactly like in the movies of Harry Potter!
This attraction connects the two parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida — allowing you to travel in Hogsmeade and the Diagonal Alley in a totally immersive way.
It is worth remembering that to make this journey, it is necessary to enter Park-to-Park, because each area is located in a different park from the Universal Orlando.
Butterbeer: Harry Potter's buttery beer at Universal Orlando
No visit to the magical world of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando would be complete without experiencing the famous ButterbeerIt is available in various versions: traditional, frozen, hot (in winter) and even as ice cream!
Other gastronomic highlights worth experiencing are:

Interactivity and immersion: feel part of the story
One of the things I love the most in Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the level of detailing and interactivity With an interactive wand, you can spell through the thematic areas, activating special effects, sounds and movements that really make you feel in Hogwarts.
In addition, the sound environment, performances with Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students and even Celestina Warbeck shows contribute to the magic being always alive.
The expansion of the world of Harry Potter at the Epic Universe of Universal Orlando
And since it couldn't be any different, Universal took advantage of it and brought the magic of Harry Potter also for his new park, the Epic Universe, opened in May 2025.
Unlike the current areas (Hogsmeade and Diagonal Alley), which are based on Harry's stories, the new area Ministry of Magic (Ministry of Magic), presented in the film Fantastic Animals: The Crimes of Grindelwald, offers visitors a totally new and more “adult” experience within the magical universe. That is, it keeps the visual identity already known, but with new scenarios, characters and stories.
