On one side, there is Spooktacular, a colorful and fun celebration aimed especially at children and families. On the other, comes Howl-O-Scream, a spine-chilling nighttime event, created for those looking for excitement and intense scares.
Thus, Halloween 2025 at SeaWorld Orlando can please both little ones who love sweets and costumes and adults looking for adrenaline.
Howl-O-Scream2025: the scary side of SeaWorld
Howl-O-Scrfeam 2025 runs until November 1st on select nights. USA Today named the festival the best Halloween event in 2023, and it attracts adults and adrenaline fans looking for real scares.
This year, Howl-O-Scream features five haunted houses, six scare zones, five themed bars as well as two live shows. Additionally, roving hordes roam the park to ensure no one escapes the chills. Among the new features, highlights include the Black Widow's house, full of spiders, and “The Collector's Curse”, which immerses visitors in a dark environment full of cursed relics.
Another special moment is, without a doubt, the Howl-O-Sprint 5K night race, scheduled for October 2. Soon, whoever crosses the finish line celebrates at an exclusive party. To top it off, themed foods like Zombie Tacos and Monster Munch Mac ’n’ Cheese will be spread throughout the park.
However, visitors must purchase Howl-O-Scream tickets separately from regular park admission, directly from the official event website.
Spooktacular 2025: Halloween for the whole family
While Howl-O-Scream is aimed at adults, Spooktacular 2025 guarantees fun for all ages. Until November 2, the park comes to life with colors, costumes and characters from Sesame Street in a magical and equally familiar atmosphere.
Kids can explore the Pumpkin Garden, participate in the Sesame Street Halloween Parade, dance at the Bubble Dance Party and even meet the friendly Spookley the Square Pumpkin. There is also the famous Trick or Treat Trail, where little ones collect treats in different parts of the park.
For those who want an even more special experience, there is the Spooktacular Breakfast with Count von Count, full of photos, hugs and sweet memories. The event takes place from 11am to 5pm on selected dates and is already included in park admission.
