Whoever has had the opportunity to spend Christmas in Orlando knows it's really a magical time there!
There are several attractions throughout the city to celebrate one of the most important dates of the year and, therefore, gradually, companies are already announcing the events they will be organizing for the period.
O Gaylord Palms Resort - one of Orlando’s most wanted hotel complexes by its locality, as it is very close to Disney parks – announced this week its Christmas event “ICE! with Elf”.
During the season that goes 15 November to 4 January, you will have the opportunity to see ice sculptures in giant sizes, all hand carved by more than 40 renowned Chinese artists worldwide.
Just for you to get an idea of the grandeur of these sculptures, 6700 ice blocks will be carved, each weighing about 300 pounds (approximately 136 kg) that will be kept at 9oC temperature.
The “ICE! with Elf” is inspired by the film “Elf” and visitors will be able to walk through twelve scenes of the long one that resemble Buddy’s journey – the elf – from the North Pole to the city of New York, where sculptures will be mounted.

SHOWS, FOOD AND ACTIVITIES FOR ALL FAMILY
But the ICE! goes world beyond sculptures. Visitors will have several other attractions, such as live shows, gastronomic experiences, ice sliders for the kids to have fun, as well as being able to take pictures with Santa Claus and several other activities for the whole family (such as the traditional production of gingerbread houses!) and craft workshops.
Anyway, it's a super-complete event for you and your family to do a real immersion in the Christmas climate at the same time you have fun!
It's super worth it!
Tickets cost $29.99 (adults) and $17.99 (children) and guests at Gaylord Palms Resort have special advantages, such as early entry to the event and pass in front of other visitors in line for the attractions.
