What is forbidden in Disney parks
1. Unaccompanied children
An adult must always supervise the children! Visitors under the age of 14 may only enter the parks accompanied by a guardian. And to board the attractions, children under the age of 7 need to be with someone who is at least 14 years old.

2. Baby carriages
Parks do not allow the use of baby strollers larger than 79 cm wide and 132 cm long, as well as carriages. The models known as stroller wagons (Vagon-like cars) are not allowed. If you prefer, you can also rent carts directly in the parks.

3. Smoking
Disney’s complex theme parks prohibit the use of tobacco, electronic cigarettes, marijuana and other fumiginous products. In addition, resorts charge fees from $250 to $500 of guests who smoke in their rooms.
4. Prohibited objects
- Backpacks.
You can take backpacks to Disney parks, provided that they respect the limit of 61 x 38 x 46 cm. At the entrance, the security team conducts a backpack inspection before releasing visitors' access. Larger backpacks, suitcases, bags or coolers — with or without wheels — cannot enter the parks.
Oh, and attention: Ice cubes or dry ice also do not allow ice cubes or dry ice inside those containers. They only accept reusable ice!

- Alcoholic beverages
- What? Firearms and sharp objects:
You cannot enter with firearms (not even toys!), knives, any self-defense device, sharp objects, among others.
- Bottles and glass packaging:
Avoid glass packaging, including bottles and baby jars.
- What? Objects that sound:
Do not use horns, whistles or any other device that emits noise.
- Drones:
Leave at home drones, toys with remote control, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, skates and shoes with built-in wheels.
- Selfie sticks:
You cannot use selfie sticks, manual extenders for cameras or mobile phones, flags, tracks or balloons.

5. Pets
You can only come in with animals if they're on duty, like dogs trained to help people with special needs.
In this case, always keep the animal on a leash and under your supervision. Remember: service animals cannot embark on some attractions.

They still prohibit some behaviors and activities, in addition to the items mentioned above. So watch out! Nobody wants to ruin months of planning for a simple carelessness, right?
6. Unacceptable behaviour in parks
In addition to the items, some behaviors are also not allowed within Disney parks, so be careful not to be embarrassed or even expelled (yes, it happens!) by security guards!
- Offensive clothing:
Wear inappropriate clothes, too short or with offensive prints; barefoot or shirtless. Disney can also search anyone who is wearing several layers of clothing.
- What? Invented adults:
People over 14 can't go in in costumes or wear masks.
- Words or aggressive conduct:
Do not use swearing, obscene gestures or blasphemies, or other visitors or employees.
- Distribution of pamphlets:
Parks prohibit the sale or disclosure of products or services without authorization, whether with printed or engraved materials. You also cannot promote events, speeches or use flags, tracks, plates or any material for commercial purposes or demonstrations.
- What? Do not bother people:
You can't disturb other visitors.
- What? Do not enter restricted areas:
Do not enter restricted areas, exclusive to Disney employees. Here it is also worth noting that it is not allowed to obstruct sidewalks, entrances, passages or staircases; this hinders the work of employees.
What is allowed to take to Disney parks
1. Food and drink
Contrary to what many people think, you can, yes, enter the parks with food and drink, but with some conditions!
Alcoholic beverages — as we have already said — remain prohibited. Waters, juices and soft drinks are allowed, provided they are in reusable packaging and without glass!
It is also possible to bring baby food or foods that need cooling or heating, provided they do not have strong odors.
I mean, snacks, snacks, candy, fruit... All this is released!
Thermal bottles
You can carry thermal bottles or plastic bottles, no problem at all!
I always take mine Stanley Thermal Bottle of 591 ml It keeps the water cold for several hours, even during the hottest days in Orlando. Besides, I never had any trouble getting her into Disney parks as long as she's empty or just with water.
Free water
In addition to taking your own bottle of water or squeeze, know that Disney also offers free water to visitors. Just ask for a glass of water (complementary cup of water) in any restaurant Quick ServiceNo need to make a purchase. The parks also have water fountains spread across several areas, where you can replenish your bottle throughout the day.
Coolers
As I said earlier, coolers are only allowed if they do not exceed the maximum dimensions of 61 x 38 x 46 cm (24" x 15" x 18"). To keep food refrigerated, use reusable ice or ice packs. Use of dry ice and loose ice is not allowed, okay?
2. Sunscreen and raincoat
Take it easy, especially in the summer! And while we're at it, hats, sunglasses and raincoats are also super welcome. In the American summer, it usually rains a lot! And even outside that time, some attractions wet, so it's worth preventing.
3. Electronic cameras and devices
Take your camera and your smartphone! After all, it's impossible not to want to record every detail of this amazing day, right? Cameras, camcorders, GoPro, action cameras and mobile phones are allowed in Disney parks. However, equipment that may compromise safety or hinder the experience of other visitors, such as selfie sticksBig tripods and drones are forbidden.
Power Banks They are also allowed. In fact, I'd say they're one of the most important items to take to Disney parks. The app My Disney Experience it is used for almost all day to check queue times, make orders by Mobile Order, check maps, attractions schedules and other features, which can consume a lot of cell phone battery. And let's face it, no one wants to run out of battery just in time to record the shows and fireworks at the end of the day, right?
I usually wear a 20,000 mAh Power Bank Geonav, which offers fast charging and features USB-A and USB-C inputs and outputs. The capacity is enough to recharge the phone several times throughout the day, and he never gave me any trouble at the entrance to the parks. If you are looking for a similar model, it is what I use and recommend.
4. Medicinal products and first aid
Personal medicines, including controlled medicines, insulin, inhalers and other medically needed items, can normally be taken to parks. If any medicine needs to remain refrigerated, use a thermal bag or cooler within the dimensions permitted by Disney. Personal hygiene items (such as toothbrushes and toothpaste) are also allowed.
I also recommend, if necessary, to keep in hand the medical prescription or the identification of the medicine you are taking. It's not mandatory, but it's important if there's an emergency in the park.
Products I really take for a day at Disney parks
After several trips to Orlando, I realized that some items make all the difference to enjoy a whole day in the parks with much more comfort and practicality. Below are some of the products I really use and recommend. They have all accompanied me (or accompany me) on my visits to Disney parks.
- 🔋 20,000 mAh Power Bank Geonav – Essential to keep your phone charged all day, mainly because of My Disney Experience application, which is used constantly to consult queues, maps, orders by Mobile Order and more.
- 💧 Thermal bottle – I always carry a thermos bottle to keep the water cold longer. In addition to saving, simply refuel it in the park water fountains or order a free glass of water at Quick Service restaurants.
- 🎒 Comfortable backpack – A lightweight backpack with good internal division makes it easy to carry water, snacks, documents, loaders, raincoat and other indispensable items during the day. I prefer models with about 20 litres, which offer enough space without becoming heavy or bulky, as This one from Escrodoi. which is very light, waterproof and excellent for outdoor activities!
- 🌧️ Compact Rain Cover – The climate in Orlando can change quickly and it is very common to have rain strokes, especially during the summer. Having a raincoat in your backpack avoids spending more buying one inside the parks.
- 🧢 Hat or hat – Fundamental to help protect against the sun, especially in the warmer months, when the thermal sensation is usually quite high.
- 🌀 Portable fan – One of the items I've come to appreciate most in recent trips. It helps a lot to face the long lines under the sun and makes the walk much more comfortable on days of intense heat.
