About Genie+
Well, for first-time sailors, I'll explain better what Genie+ was and how this change could affect your programming in the parks.
Genie+ arrived in 2021 to replace the old FastPass+. It was an additional service sold by Disney and operated as a sort of package that allowed fast queues (called Lightining Lanes) in some attractions of Disney theme parks.
Throughout this period, he went through several modifications, not only in terms of values but rules as well until, finally, Disney decided to take him out of the field announcing his replacement with Lighting Lane Multi Pass.
One of the main changes is that before, with Genie+, it was not possible to buy it in advance, only on the day of your visit to the park and only one day at a time.
Now visitors will be able to acquire it in advance and can better schedule their travel itinerary.
The new Lighting Lane Multi Pass
Lighting Lane Multi Pass will work a little bit like the old FastPass.
By purchasing it, you can schedule up to 3 attractions with fast queues even before your visit to the park, and still choose the times available.
And on the day of the visit, after using the first attraction, you can go to My Disney Experience app and schedule another attraction that is available.
In the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios parks, the Multi Pass will be divided into two groups: Group 1 (with more popular attractions) and Group 2 (with more competitive attractions).
Thus, you can choose only one attraction of Group 1 and two attractions of Group 2 or the three attractions of Group 2.

About Lighting Lane Single Pass

Lightning Lane Single Pass will work in a very similar way to what works today. The difference here is that you can now purchase the fast queue of the park’s most popular attractions individually and in advance.
The attractions that will offer the Single Pass are:
MAGIC KINGDOM
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- TRON Lightcycle / Run
EPCOT
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIES
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM
- Avatar Flight of Passage
Here's a caveat: all the attractions of Lightning Lane Single Pass NO They're part of the Lighting Lane Multi Pass package, okay?
How to Make Your Schedules
The guests of Disney Resort hotels You can buy the Lightning Lanes and their schedules up to 7 days in advance of your check-in (during your entire stay of up to 14 days), while other visitors can only make them up to 3 days in advance of the start date of their ticket.
On the other hand, holders of annual passes or those whose admission does not have a start date, may purchase and make their appointments for any of the next 3 days.
Both purchase and scheduling begin at 7am Orlando time (as it is now) and can be done directly in the My Disney Experience app.

These changes announced by Disney promise to make the audience experience even better since it is now possible to program a little more in advance.
It's still early to tell whether or not the new system will be better than the current Genie+ and Lightning Lane, but I, in particular, think that now the public will be able to enjoy the park more and get to go on more attractions in the same day, just as it was with old FastPass.
