If you're going to be in Orlando on July 4, you can't miss the special program Disney has prepared to celebrate the holiday of American independence.

July 4th is one of the most important dates in the United States and there are events all over the country, including in the city of Orlando, where Americans celebrate their patriotism with lots of music, parades, fireworks and, of course, food!

And to avoid being left out, Disney has prepared eleven ways that its visitors can celebrate the date in their theme parks. Shall we check it out?

MAGIC KINGDOM

On July 3rd and 4th, at 9:20 p.m., Orlando’s skies will light up with the spectacle “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” an unforgettable burning of fires that takes place in Magic Kingdom.

Remembering that this show will replace the traditional Happily Ever After These two days!

Still on these dates, DJs will have a special party in front of Cinderella Castle, where visitors can dance all night.

But watch out! The park hours in these two days will not be extended and will run from 8am to 23pm on July 3rd and   from 9am to 11pm on July 4th.

EPCOT

At Epcot, visitors will be able to follow along the day, there in the United States pavilion – the The American Adventure – group presentations Voices of Liberty singing to the chapel several patriotic songs throughout the 4th of July.

In the same area, some characters will be wearing special outfits to take pictures with visitors.

In addition, the public can closely check the George W Institute exhibition. Busch, “Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors”.

It premiered on June 9, 2024 and brings together more than 60 oil paintings from former President Bush, military and veterans who served the United States since September 11, and which the president has also known personally since leaving office.

At night, only on July 4 (at 9 p.m.), visitors will be able to watch the burning of patriotic fires “The Heartbeat of Freedom” right after the traditional fireworks show “Luminous The Symphony of US”.

Another important detail is that during these days, the Spaceship Earth (the famous Epcot golf ball) will be all lit up with the colors of the American flag. Don't stop taking too many shots!

Oh, and it's also worth remembering that all the theme parks and resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort will have special theme food to celebrate the Fourth of July, such as Barbecue Pulled Chicken Sandwich, a chicken barbecue sandwich with homemade pickles, choleslaw and an onion ring on a brioche bread.

I've done a full post on all these little eaters. HERE, Don't stop checking!
