Disney has just announced the dates of one of the most anticipated events of the year in the parks: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
The famous Halloween event takes place at Magic Kingdom from August 9, 2024 bringing some news:
- Mickey and Minnie in new costumes
The first news of the event is that this year the hosts of the house will be in new neon spider web costumes.
- Participation of more villains
Mirrored throughout Magic Kingdom, visitors will be able to identify their favorite villains and take pictures next to them.
- DescenDANCE Party
Descendants Dance Party is a party inspired by Disney's original film, the "Descents: The Red Ascension”, which premieres at Disney+ on July 12. This new rave will take place at Rockettower Plaza Stage in the Tomorrowland area.
- Presence of Bruno Madrigal
For the first time, Bruno Madrigal of the film “Enchanto” is present at the party next to Mirabel, in his house at Fairytale Garden.
- Mickey’s Boo-To-You Stop at New Time
The long awaited Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade will begin earlier this year at 8:15 p.m., an hour before the previous years.
To complete the fun, the event will feature the return of the fireworks show “Disney1s Not-So-Scary Spectacular”, presented by Jack Skellington, the show “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular”, and tricks throughout the park.

To participate in all the “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party“ you should buy separate tickets and keep an eye on the dates, because on the days of the event, visitors who did not buy tickets to this party need to leave the park early and the traditional castle fireworks show does not happen!
As mentioned above, the Halloween event begins on August 9 and takes place until October 31 at Magic Kingdom on selected dates.
Tickets will be for sale to guests at Walt Disney World Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green and May 8. For all other guests, tickets will be on sale from May 15.
