Who said there is no Brazilian carnival in Orlando? So if you are going to visit the city and really want to join in the festivities, then write this tip down in your diary!
On March 1st, residents and tourists will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a true Brazilian carnival, that is, a party full of energy, colors and rhythms.
The event takes place at Lake Nona Town Center, from 6pm to 11pm, and will feature musical performances and, in addition, lots of typical cuisine.
Among the repertoire, there are successful sambas that rocked the main school parades in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, as well as the electrifying frevo from Recife and Olinda, including axé and the nostalgic marchinhas of carnival dances.
The event is a partnership between the Consulate General of Brazil in Orlando and the portal Tudo para Brasileiros.
Brazilian Carnival has lots of live music in Orlando
The public will be able to count on the participation of live bands and DJs who will bring all the energy of the Brazilian carnival to Orlando, such as:
Marcio Mendes Band:bringing an infectious repertoire with the biggest hits of Brazilian Carnival.
DJ Fábio Neto: ensuring a special mix of Brazilian and international rhythms to rock the party.
Spirit of Samba dancers: performances that reflect all the joy and elegance of samba.
Samba Stilt Walkers:a show in itself, bringing even more color and magic to the event.
Fest brings together the best of typical Brazilian cuisine
In addition to lots of music, participants will also be able to enjoy several food trucks that will offer everything from international dishes to Brazilian culinary delights.
