Disney announced great news for visitors to Orlando during the 2025 American summer: for the first time since the pandemic, the two water parks – Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon – will be open at the same time!
In recent years, Disney operated parks in relay systems, keeping one open while the other went through maintenance. However, this year visitors will be able to enjoy All Six Disney Parks – the four themes and the two aquatic – simultaneously!

News in Disney Water Parks in 2025
Blizzard Beach 🏔️❄️
O Blizzard Beach, which is currently in operation, will close between May 1st and 20th, 2025 for a brief maintenance. However, will reopen on 21 May and remain in operation until 7 September 2025When it closes again.
Typhoon Lagoon 🌊🏝️
The Typhoon Lagoon It will reopen in the day 1 May 2025 and will be available to visitors until 7 September 2025. Even, it is worth remembering that he is closed for maintenance since November 2024.
Disney has night party in water park in 2025
In addition to the simultaneous reopening of water parks, Disney confirmed the return of H2O Glow After Hours, a special night event that takes place in Typhoon Lagoon from 23 May to 13 September 2025On selected nights.
During this party, visitors can enjoy the park after regular hours, with illuminated attractions, encounters with characters from Toy StoryAs well as a lot of music and complimentary snacks.
Tickets to the H2O Glow After Hours must be purchased separately and will be available to the general public from the day 4 April 2025. Prices are:
✅ Adults (over 10 years): $85.
✅ Children (3 to 9 years): $42.50
Disney resort guests can buy tickets in advance from 1 April 2025. Besides, all guests will have free access to either of the two water parks on the day of their arrival at the hotel, from 21 May 2025.
