For many, the hotel is just a place to sleep, as we spend all day in parks and beating legs in outlets. But for others, the hotel needs to have good accommodations, especially if they're traveling in groups, right?
I mean from experience. Before I had my daughter, the hotel was what mattered in our trips to Orlando, as long as it was near the parks and was within the route we intended during that trip. Because we love to make our breakfasts outside the hotel and have the opportunity to have a typical American gastronomic experience! But after I had my daughter, we started choosing accommodations that had a kitchen with a fridge and microwave so we could have some meals at the hotel. And while paying a little more, I confess I thought it was worth it!
As I know that many people end up going to Orlando in groups or even families with small children, I found it valid to post and share with you some hotel options with kitchens that can help you during your stay.
The idea here is not to talk about Disney and Universal resorts that, many should already know, come super equipped and book great accommodation with large rooms and good location. But, yes, talking about more economical options for you that can't stay in any of these resorts.
1 - Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites
The Holiday Inn is a good option for you who want to stay close to Disney and International Drive. Despite offering breakfast in your daily, the hotel offers a full kitchen in its accommodations, with minibar, microwave and coffee maker.

2 -Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas
Sheraton is another hotel with a very familiar atmosphere, with large accommodation. They are apartments with bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and even dining room! It's one of those places for you to really feel at home!
It is part of the Marriott group and is located in the Lake Buena Vista region, near the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlet.

3 - Westgate Lakes Resort & SPA
Located right next to Universal Studios, Westgate Lakes Resort offers a variety of accommodation ranging from beautiful studios to very spacious rooms for the whole family, which include a complete kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, minibar, dishwasher and all the utensils a kitchen needs.

4 - Floridays Resort Orlando
Located very close to Orlando Vineland Premium Outlet and Sea World, this hotel is a great option for families and groups. The accommodation is large and has up to 3 bedrooms, living room and a complete kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher.

5 - Parkway International Resort
Parkway International Resort is also an apartment-style hotel with large rooms, fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a very comfortable living room. I stayed at this hotel in January 2024 and my family and I love the experience. In addition to all the accommodation structure, you can also enjoy the entire resort's infrastructure, such as swimming pools, courts, gym and playground.
It is located in the region of Celebration, close to the entire Disney complex.

6 - Club Wyndham Cypress Palms
Also in the Lake Buena Vista region, you will find Club Wyndham Cypress Palms, which also follows the apartment style, with a complete and well equipped kitchen. The site is also very frequented by families seeking comfort and want to enjoy all the amenities that a hotel can offer, such as swimming pool, barbecue, as well as toy library and playground for children.

7 - Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham
Located near Disney Parks, Hawthorn offers very comfortable Kitnet-style accommodation with fully equipped kitchen in all hotel suites, even in the simplest room that accommodates up to 4 people.

8 - Hilton Grand Vacations Club Tuscany Village
On the side of Orlando Vineland Premium Outlet is the Hilton Grand Vacations Club, so much so that you can walk to this shopping centre. The hotel offers accommodation for all kinds of tourists: from people travelling alone to larger families. There are accommodation with only one bed and a smaller kitchen (with microwave, fridge and coffee maker) and also larger accommodation whose kitchens are more complete, with fridge, stove and dishwasher.

Another hotel in the area of Celebration, collided with Disney parks, is Melia Orlando Celebration. The apartments are spacious and with a complete kitchen, perfect to suit your entire trip.

10 - Barefoot’n Resort
Located in the Kissimmee region, less than 8km from Walt Disney World Resort, you will find the Barefoot’n Resort. It offers large rooms with a great well-equipped kitchen, with toaster, fridge, stove, microwave and other appliances that will make your stay very pleasant.
